Microfilm Optical Technician, Registry of Deeds

Shift: Full time

Pay: Grade 32, Min. $13.20, Mid. $15.30, Max. $18.27

Scope:  Assists the administration of archival preservation while performing the duties of a microfilm/optical tech.  

 

Duties:  Prepares deposits, processes accounts receivables/payables and copies accounts. Participates in cross training and fills in for the bookkeeper and all front office positions except recording documents. Prepares all documents for scanning and/or filming; checks for accuracy, smudge seals and determines legibility. Scans all recorded documents, tracks quality and accuracy of optical copy and transfers to platters for archival storage. Films documents, processes film, proofreads film for quality and accuracy, makes copies and distributes or sends to security storage. Prepares identifying cards, weighs and posts transfer envelopes and maintains records and logs. Cleans processing equipment, assists in training and orienting new employees and checks inventory with supervisor. Answers phone and provides information to callers or directs to appropriate personnel. Performs other clerical duties such as typing, filing, copying and faxing.  

 

Requirements:  Duties require knowledge of microfilming and scanning equivalent to completion of a High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); and two years of related experience and/or training; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Bookkeeping experience is preferred.  

 

Minimum Qualifications:  High School diploma or General Education Degree and two years of related experience and/or training.

HVAC/General Maintenance Technician, Engineering and Maintenance

Shift: Temporary no benefits full time position.  Day shift with nights and weekends as required.

Pay: Grade 7, Min. $17.74, Mid. $20.56, Max. $24.55

Scope:   Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Heating, Ventilation, Air conditioning and associated systems at the Rockingham County Complex.   

 

Duties:  Troubleshoots services and repairs HVAC and associated equipment. Evaluates and makes recommendations regarding repair and/or replacement of HVAC and associated equipment, and requisition of bench stock, as directed. Implements scheduled Preventive Maintenance programs on all refrigeration and HVAC equipment and performs preventive maintenance as required or assigned, of equipment, buildings, and systems. Responds to calls from facility personnel, exercising practical mechanics in areas including plumbing, steam electrical, boilers, pumps, compressors, carpentry, and lock repair. Prepares and submits work orders annotating work performed and materials used during the shift and other reports as required. Maintains proper documentation as required by governing regulatory agencies. Responds to fire alarm activations and all other emergency situations at the County Complex. Performs regular tours of the facility, inspecting for safe and proper operations and conditions, affecting repairs and/or reporting findings as needed. Participates in cross training with other divisions within the Engineering & Maintenance Services department and may be required to assist co-workers with their job responsibilities. Participates in the rotating on-call general maintenance process to provide coverage to other areas of the county complex.  

 

Qualifications:  Possession of valid Universal EPA Certification for Freon recovery. Knowledge, skills and abilities normally acquired through a High School education and/or the equivalent; three to five years’ experience in industrial and /or commercial maintenance or the equivalent in vocational/technical training plus a minimum of two years demonstrated experience. A working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, pipefitting and carpentry methods and procedures. Possession of a valid driver’s license; commercial license preferred.

Administrative Assistant Senior, Finance Office

Shift: Full time

Scope:  Manages the day-to-day administrative responsibilities of the Finance Department such as oral and written communications, document management and managing employee schedules.  

 

Duties: The Administrative Assistant Senior reports to the Finance Director and plays a critical role in managing the administrative functions of a busy finance department.  Primary responsibilities include receiving, distributing and managing documentation, maintaining filing systems, ordering supplies and managing departmental staff schedules and aiding staff in Finance processes.  

 

Qualifications:  The successful candidate will have an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or 3 to 5 years of experience as an executive assistant, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 2007 is preferred (Outlook, Word, Excel and Access).  Essential skills and attributes include excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy; ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment; and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Nursing Supervisor, Long Term Care Services

Shift: Full time, 11pm to 7am with alternating weekends, holidays, and other shifts required

Scope: Directs, through head or charge nurses, activities of the nursing staff to ensure optimum resident care.  

 

Duties: Supervision and evaluation of licensed and certified personnel. Assessment of resident’s condition to assure continuity of care through reports/communications. Responsible for the facility on the 11pm – 7am shift. Accepts special assignments from the Director of Nursing, Quality Improvement Nurse, Staff Development Coordinator, and Associate Director of Nursing.  

 

Qualifications: Graduate of approved school of nursing and holds current RN license in the State of New Hampshire. Must possess qualities of leadership, diplomacy and have experience as an RN in LTC. Nursing supervisory experience preferred and dependability a must.

Starting Rate: $14.90

Hazardous duty: $25.00 per week

Shift Differential: $1.25 per hour on 2nd and 3rd shift

Scope: Correctional Officer is responsible for the care, custody and control of inmate population. Provides a safe environment by enforcing policy and procedures. Good sight, good hearing, walk, climb stairs, the ability to separate inmates when necessary, manual dexterity, ability to communicate verbally and written. Sit, stand, walk, push, pull, bend, reach, grasp, read, follow directions and orders. Also take counts of prisoners. Transporting inmates, serving meals to inmates, participate in block searches. Good interaction skills. Building searches.   

Requirements: Experience preferably in the field of law enforcement or corrections, with an ability to deal effectively with all types of people. Must have a high school diploma or equivalency to qualify for NH Association of Counties “Corrections Officer Academy” Certification. Must be able to pass physical requirements of Group II Retirement Certification. Individuals must possess these knowledge’s, skills, and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some of the combination of skills and abilities and to possess the necessary physical requirements with or without the aid of mechanical devices to safely perform the essential functions of the job. Must possess a current and valid driver’s license. Good writing skills with the ability to articulate well. Good interaction skills, good health as described, must pass polygraph test and other duties as assigned.
