Winter Wellness Event

Vision: The vision of the Wellness Program is to have employee mental and physical health the best it can be in order for those employees to effectively meet their personal and work responsibilities, goals, and challenges.
Mission: The mission of the Wellness Program is to provide employees with the means to successfully achieve the Wellness Program Vision

Eligibility: All benefit and contract (including those employees who participate in the Buy Out program) eligible employees are allowed to participate in the “Winning Habits” Program. Retirees, temporary staff, per diem, spouses and covered dependents are not eligible to participate. Participation is strictly voluntary. Future program plan years may follow a different monetary incentive amount as well as different eligibility criteria. Payout in any program year is subject to sufficient funding as approved in the County budget
Incentive Awards: Eligible employees who participate in any of the following activities will be awarded their choice of an American Express gift card or the equivalent dollar amount added to payroll as indicated below.

Participation in 3 out of 4 of the Winning Habits 2009 Activities $50.00

Healthy Bucks:
County Wide Healthy Initiatives
- Improvement to the food offerings in the staff dining room.
- A Wellness Fair held annually to present employees with the opportunity to have onsite health screenings, healthy education presentations and other wellness related presentations and activities.
- Health Risk Assessments (HRA) are available to members of the County health plans through Health Plans Inc. Participation in this program is voluntary.
- Weekly wellness tips are published on all staff dining room tables.
- Health related education seminars and lecture series will be presented at least quarterly at staggered times and locations to allow for the greatest attendance.
- A quarterly Winning Habits newsletter will be published to remind you of the program events, offerings and to provide you with other wellness related information.
