Administrative Assistant FT   Provides data entry and clerical support to the food service department.
Legal Assistant I FT  

Provides clerical support to all prosecutorial efforts of the office.  The individual holding this position will be assigned two or more attorneys’ heavy clerical workloads along with other varied tasks associated with the support of the office.

LNA I FT 11p-7a Under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse, is continuously responsible for providing non-professional nursing services.
LNA I PT 3p-11p Under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse, is continuously responsible for providing non-professional nursing services.
Payroll Manager FT exempt Directs the activities of employees for payroll processing, financial report preparation, system administration and budget oversight by performing the following duties; assignments at this level involve responsibilities that impact the entire financial operation and requires the exercise of discretion over operations and policies.
Dietary Aide I PT   Prepares meals for the Ernest P. Barka Assisted Living Facility residents in the dining room and resident rooms as needed.
Dietary Aide III FT   Assists in all areas of food preparation and service on a rotating as needed basis

Classification Level: Union Positions Entry Level
Starting Rate: $14.90
Hours: 8 ¼ per day, 5 day week, shift work
Hazardous duty: $25.00 per week
Shift Differential: $1.25 per hour on 2nd and 3rd shift
Weekend Premium: $1.00 per hour all shifts

Scope: Correctional Officer is responsible for the care, custody and control of inmate population. Provides a safe environment by enforcing policy and procedures. Good sight, good hearing, walk, climb stairs, the ability to separate inmates when necessary, manual dexterity, ability to communicate verbally and written. Sit, stand, walk, push, pull, bend, reach, grasp, read, follow directions and orders. Also take counts of prisoners. Transporting inmates, serving meals to inmates, participate in block searches. Good interaction skills. Building searches.   

Requirements: Experience preferably in the field of law enforcement or corrections, with an ability to deal effectively with all types of people. Must have a high school diploma or equivalency to qualify for NH Association of Counties “Corrections Officer Academy” Certification. Must be able to pass physical requirements of Group II Retirement Certification. Individuals must possess these knowledge’s, skills, and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some of the combination of skills and abilities and to possess the necessary physical requirements with or without the aid of mechanical devices to safely perform the essential functions of the job. Must possess a current and valid driver’s license. Good writing skills with the ability to articulate well. Good interaction skills, good health as described, must pass polygraph test and other duties as assigned.

Environmental Services: Housekeeping Aide I, Full and Part time

No experience necessary. Follows all health and safety regulations, rules and procedures. Cleans rooms, offices, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, closets and stairways. Sweeps, dry mops, vacuums and damp mops floors, dusts furniture and appliances, washes walls, ceilings, beds, windows, door panels and woodwork. Empties wastebaskets and transports trash and other waste materials to disposal area. Refills and secures chemicals, maintains supply list and provides on the job training and orientation for new hires. Assists with laundry functions, reports safety hazards to appropriate personnel, and assigns the daily routine for floating aides.

Environmental Services: Laundry Aide I, Full and Part time

No experience necessary.  Retrieves and sorts residents’ personal laundry or facility’s linens for washing. Loads, operates and unloads washers and dryers using appropriate soaps and/or chemicals. Folds and places laundry in baskets, on carts, hangers or shelves. Operates ironer for sheets, pillow cases, and table linen. Sorts residents’ personal items for delivery to appropriate floor and room, delivers carts of clean linens and clothes to appropriate area or linen room. Advises supervisor of any problems with machines. Accompanies any inmates working on deliveries, breaks or other movements within facility, cleans machines and disposes of trash.
